About the team
The Climate Resilience Programme of WaterAid Bangladesh aims to improve access to water and sanitation services with promotion of safe hygiene practices among the targeted underprivileged people living in different climate vulnerable areas in Bangladesh. Under the interventions, WaterAid also works with schools and healthcare centers in the respective project areas to improve their WASH services including influencing respective local government institute (LGIs), youth, utility agencies, relevant actors, civil society organization, and stakeholders as appropriate. The team is headed by Programme Lead-Climate Resilience.
About the role
The Young Professional (Climate Resilience) will support the integration of climate resilience in WASH programmes by assisting in technical design reviews, field monitoring, and policy rollouts. The role includes preparing field visit reports, supporting partner capacity building, construction quality monitoring, QPS compliance, and providing cross-team technical inputs. This position offers a valuable opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in climate resilience and development programming.
