The Opportunity
The incumbent will work directly with the Head of Communications, Media, and Campaign to identify and proactively develop relationships with influential Bangladesh media (Cox’s Bazar), write/ guide newsworthy press materials for both national and international media.
The incumbent will also produce quality information and documentation targeted at both internal and external audiences. Internal communications will focus on updating the response situation report, providing response updates for the CD, DCD, Head of CMC and Head of Cox’s Bazar when needed. External communications will focus on coordinating and producing donor briefing papers. S/he will be further responsible for collecting case studies (both written and AV), success stories and documenting programmes when needed. S/he will also be responsible for coordinating high-level visits, in particular and other content gathering visits.
The incumbent will also work closely with the Communications and Media Manager in the Asia Regional Office.
