ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
Haiti faces recurrent humanitarian crises, fragile infrastructure, and severe access constraints that challenge the delivery of assistance. Haiti was designated as one of the pilot countries for the UN80 Integrated Supply Chain Reform. Haiti’s complex operating environment makes it a critical testing ground for these reforms, with lessons expected to inform global roll-out.
Within this framework, Supply Chain unit of the Country Office Haiti has been tasked with managing partner service requests, reinforcing compliance with WFP procedures, and ensuring that external services are delivered efficiently and transparently. The Unit also plays a pivotal role in bridging operational service delivery with strategic reform, ensuring that partners benefit from reliable logistics support while contributing to the broader objectives of UN80.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive, within delegated authority):
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: University degree in International Relations, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or Accounting or other relevant field.
Experience: 5+ years post graduate professional experience in supply chain coordination and management, preferably with UN agencies or INGOs. Proven record in managing teams and coordinating external service delivery. Knowledge of cost-recovery modalities, service provision frameworks, and inter-agency coordination. Experience in reform design, workflow optimization, and accountability mechanisms. Familiarity with UN supply chain and financial procedures and humanitarian coordination mechanisms (Logistics Cluster, HCT).
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Language: Fluency (level C) in English and French is required.
