The position is to be filled by 15 September 2026, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. You will work 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. Mobile work within Germany is possible in agreement with your team. 100% mobile work is not possible. The position is remunerated with 15 Euro per hour.
Since 2015, Welthungerhilfe (WHH) has focused on vocational education and training, particularly in regions where such opportunities are scarce. The cross-country program “Skill Up!” strengthens the employability of young people and facilitates their entry into the job market. The Vocational Education portfolio is part of the Sector Strategy, Knowledge and Learning Unit, which continuously improves program work.
As a student assistant, you will support the team in further developing the Skills Development area. A particular focus of this position will be supporting the coordination and implementation of the global Skill Up! program and the preparation of its next phase, Skill Up! 2030. Your tasks include research and analysis of trends in skills development and employment promotion, as well as fostering knowledge transfer and exchange between colleagues worldwide, including through the maintenance of the MS Teams platform and management of the digital knowledge library. You will work closely with other departments and gain a comprehensive understanding of WHH’s activities.
