Plan International started working in Egypt in 1981 and has a presence in ten of the 27 governorates in which the country including Greater Cairo, Alexandria, Giza, Beheira, Kalyoubia, Damietta, Qena, Assuit and Sohag. Plan international Egypt implements programmes designed to enable communities to improve the lives of the most marginalised children and their families. Plan Egypt’s Country Strategy focuses on five strategic objectives.
Through a five-interconnected, gender transformative and context-fit country objectives, PIE intends along with the various stakeholders at all levels to continue delivering positive and transformative changes so that “Children, especially girls, and young people grow up in an enabling environment, realizing their rights and contributing in both development and humanitarian settings as active agents of change”.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You will play a key role in strengthening the effectiveness, quality, and impact of sponsorship-related programming and partner engagement across Sponsorship implementation areas. You will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and implementation of national-level sponsorship activities with local partners, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, sponsorship standards, and program objectives. You will serve as a central coordination point between partners, facilitating collaboration, communication, and joint planning for country-wide initiatives and engagements.
Working closely with internal teams and partner organizations, you will oversee the implementation of Country Office-led initiatives with local partners, supports the design and coordination of tailored capacity-strengthening interventions, and promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the partnership network. Further, you will ensure effective partner engagement throughout the sponsorship cycle, maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, support the delivery of partner learning and development activities, and contribute to the successful achievement of sponsorship objectives through effective coordination, monitoring, documentation, and operational support.
In addition, you will support the documentation, learning, and visibility of sponsorship interventions by coordinating the collection and development of success stories, Most Significant Change stories, lessons learned, case studies, and other evidence of program results.
