BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
Under the supervision of the Senior Multimedia Producer and in close collaboration with communications colleagues, the Senior Video Editor will lead on the delivery of high-quality, consistent, and impactful video content across WFP’s global communications outputs.
This HQ-based role will serve as a senior technical resource, contributing to the consistency of editorial approaches, visual identity, and production quality across video content produced by headquarters, regional and country offices.
The consultant will also contribute to the development and application of video production standards and provide technical guidance and feedback to colleagues and partners, supporting continuous improvement in video storytelling.
In parallel, the Senior Video Editor will produce and edit high-profile video content, contributing to flagship outputs and helping to maintain a high standard of visual storytelling aligned with WFP’s brand and humanitarian objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Degree in film production, multimedia, communications, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
