Organizational Context and Scope
The RE2CLID – Resilience and Climate-Induced Displacement Programme supports governments, communities and partners in the Lake Tanganyika basin to address climate- and disaster-related displacement through integrated approaches that strengthen preparedness and coordination while advancing community-driven recovery, resilience and longer-term solutions.
Effective programme support is essential to ensure high-quality planning, implementation follow-up, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, stakeholder coordination, knowledge generation and institutional learning across programme activities in Kigoma Region. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, government counterparts, implementing partners and other stakeholders to support evidence-based programming and coherent delivery.
Under the overall supervision of the Programme Coordinator and direct supervision by Project Officer (MECC/CAD/DRR) and in coordination with relevant technical staff, the incumbent will provide programmatic support to RE2CLID interventions in Kigoma, including support to monitoring and evaluation, reporting programme implementation, stakeholder coordination, research, capacity-building activities, learning and knowledge management, as well as the organization of workshops, consultations and steering committee meetings.
