The STRIDES Morocco Senior Epidemiology and Surveillance Officer will support the implementation of epidemiology and surveillance activities under the STRIDES Morocco Activity, a U.S. Department of State-funded global health security program. This is a locally hired position based in Rabat, Morocco. The Senior Officer will provide technical support to relevant government counterparts on developing and strengthening infectious disease detection and surveillance systems, ensuring alignment with national priorities and international best practices. They will support the day-to-day technical implementation of surveillance-related activities, monitor progress against workplans, and ensure timely delivery of outputs. The Senior Officer will contribute to donor reports, annual workplans, and other technical deliverables, and will work closely with the project team and HQ to evaluate program effectiveness and provide technical assessment reports. The position reports directly to the STRIDES Morocco Project Director.

The expected hiring salary range for this role is MAD 350,000 - 450,000 annually for gross salary.
