How can you make a difference?

You provide high-level, secure, and professional driving services to the Head of Office (HoE). This role goes beyond basic transportation duties and requires strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders, knowledge of diplomatic and UN protocols, proficiency in digital tracking systems, and a client-service-oriented approach.

In addition to driving responsibilities, you provide basic administrative and logistical support and contribute to the professional development of other drivers.

You demonstrate a client-oriented mindset, a strong sense of responsibility, courtesy, discretion, and tact, as well as the ability to work effectively with people from diverse national and cultural backgrounds.

To qualify an advocate for every child you will have…

Minimum requirements:

• Education: Secondary education is required, along with a valid driver's license and knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
• Work Experience: Minimum three years of relevant work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy, or UN system with a safe driving record is required.
• Skills: Knowledge in Protocol Compliance, Safe driving, Vehicle Tracking Systems, Vehicle maintenance is required.
• Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required.

Desirables:

• Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
• Experience with VIP protocol, airport meeting protocol, emergency response and first-aid certification is an asset.
• Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is an asset.
