Organizational Context and Scope
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has been operational in the Central African Republic (CAR) since 2006, working in close collaboration with the Government of CAR (GoCAR), United Nations agencies, civil society organizations (CSOs), and international partners to address the complex migration, humanitarian, and development challenges exacerbated by decades of conflict, displacement, and instability.

Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Mission, and the direct supervision of the Head of Project Support Unit the Reporting Officer will provide technical leadership on donor and institutional reporting, with a strong focus on compliance and performance reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and results-based accountability in a volatile operating environment.

Languages
All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, and Spanish).
For this position, fluency in English and French is required (oral and written).
Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish) is an advantage.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
