Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Implementation & Delivery
- Lead implementation of project activities within assigned township.
- Ensure delivery of planned outputs, outcomes, and targets.
- Coordinate field activities across sectors.
- Ensure implementation plans are executed according to approved workplans.
- Track progress and address implementation bottlenecks.
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise Field Officers, Logistic Officer, and Field Accountant.
- Promote accountability and teamwork.
- Conduct performance management and coaching.
- Build staff capacity through mentoring and support.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement
- Manage relationships with local authorities and communities.
- Support community participation and accountability.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and field-level engagement.
- Represent the project in township-level forums.
Planning, Monitoring & Reporting
- Develop monthly and quarterly work plans.
- Monitor progress against targets.
- Support data collection and reporting requirements.
- Ensure quality documentation of activities and achievements.
Resource & Operational Management
- Oversee project assets and resources.
- Coordinate logistics and procurement requests.
- Monitor field expenditures and budget utilization.
Management Risk, Security & Compliance
- Monitor contextual and operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with WV policies and donor requirements.
- Implement security protocols and duty-of-care measures.
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in project or program implementation.
- Proven experience managing field-based humanitarian or development projects.
- Experience supervising field teams and coordinating multi-sector interventions.
- Experience working in conflict-affected, fragile, or emergency contexts.
- Experience in planning, implementation tracking, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working with INGOs, NGOs, UN agencies, or donor-funded projects is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in international development, Management, Social Sciences, Public Health, Agriculture, Disaster Management, Community Development, or related field.
- Master's degree is an advantage.
- Training in project management, humanitarian response, or community development is desirable.
- Strong understanding of humanitarian principles, Sphere Standards, and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP).
- Good understanding of WASH, Health, Nutrition, Protection, Education, Food Assistance, and DRR programming.
- Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills, problem-solving and adaptive management skills.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with communities, authorities, and partners.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in complex operational environments.
- Familiarity with World Vision systems and policies is an advantage.
- Fluent Myanmar language required and good English communication and report writing skills.
