Position Objective
The Procurement Officer ensures the effective implementation of procurement policies and processes in line with organizational principles and best practices. The role covers evaluation of tenders, negotiation of contracts, and monitoring of vendor performance to achieve value for money. The Officer also reviews the funding proposals, readiness proposals, and participates in the negotiation and drafting of various legal agreements (FAAs, AMAs, FWAs, Term Sheets) for procurement Compliance. Furthermore, procurement officer also analyzes data, identifies risks, and provides reports and guidance to contribute to the strategic sourcing, enhance institutional efficiency and compliance.
