Responsible for leading and coordinating procurement activities at the Country Office level in compliance with organisational policies and donor requirements. The role oversees procurement planning, documentation management, vendor coordination, and contract compliance to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods and services. The Procurement Coordinator supervises logistics staff, supports capacity building of partners and programme teams, ensures accurate reporting and audit-ready filing systems, and promotes transparency and accountability across procurement processes while coordinating closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.

- Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines and donor requirements
- Prepare and submit reports and analysis to Logistics Manager
- Ensure proper filing of all procurement documents
- Management of Logistic team in Country Office
- Ensure development and implementation of administrative systems and procedures
- Provide anti-corruption, transparency and cost efficiency focus on all Procurement processes
- Ensure capacity building of LNGO Partner and program staff and transfer key Logistics skills and knowledge
- Ensure that local SOP’s regulate procedures at office level, and perform periodic checks
- Coordinate market assessment/Marker Analysis within the scope and request of programme/project developers
- Support line managers in procedures and require support team training related to logistics
- Line management of the logistic team including recruitment and performance management
Specific responsibilities
- Lead and monitor ongoing and foreseen procurement to be in line with NRC’s SOP and Logistics Handbook.
- Review Contract, Purchase Order, Payment and relevant verification to ensure it is compliant in terms of supporting documents.
- Monitor NRC’s procurement archive to ensure all required supporting documents are properly recorded for audit purposes.
- Development of Projects Procurement Plans and ensure PPPs are implemented efficiently.
- Submission of monthly Logistics KPIs report based on latest update of Procurement, Fleet, Warehouse and Assets to Logistics Manager.
- Coordinate with other divisions, e.g. Programme, to ensure required procurement is smoothly proceeded according to the project deadline while NRC’s logistics and financial rules and procedures and standards are followed and applied.
- Support on and develop relevant logistics training including coaching of newly recruited senior Logistics staff, Partners and new joiners in all Area Offices (AO).
- Supervise the preparation of documentation for bid committee meetings and provide technical advice to Area/Project Managers to ensure effective and efficient procurement.
- Develop a usable vendor list in accordance with NRC requirements
- Run the counter terrorism check for suppliers
