The Opportunity
The Officer- Protection is responsible for supervising and supporting the implementation of prevention activities related to Child Protection and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) interventions, including community-based protection activities in the SCI area of the Rohingya Response and Host Community programs. This includes managing and supervising Officer-Social Work, Officer – Case Work, Community Mobilizers, Cleaners and Guards in the respective locations. S/he will lead community engagement initiatives, women's and adolescent groups, awareness sessions on CP, GBV and protection issues, psychosocial support activities and Supervision of Case Management. The position will also focus on capacity building, coordination, and strengthening referral pathways under the supervision of the Senior Officer, Protection/Child Protection. This position will also have coordination with partner organisations, with the provision of technical support as an essential responsibility.
