How can you make a difference?

You as Nutrition Officer support the design, implementation, monitoring and reporting of nutrition programmes, with a particular focus on addressing urban nutrition challenges. Through technical leadership and programme management support, you contribute to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions that improve maternal, infant and child nutrition outcomes. Working within results-based management approaches and UNICEF’s strategic priorities, you help ensure effective programme delivery, accountability and sustainable results for vulnerable children and families.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Minimum requirements

• Education: Master Or Equivalent (Advanced University Degree) In Epidemiology, Public Health, Nutrition, Global Health, Health Policy, Health Management, Nutritional Epidemiology, International Health, Nutrition, Health Research, Nutrition Research, Health Sciences, and any other related fields.
• Work Experience: At Least 5 Years of Relevant Work Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, Programme Management, Nutrition, Public Health, Maternal and Child Health, Urban Nutrition, Emergency Response, Policy and Advocacy, Partnership Development, Capacity Building, and any other related fields.
• Skills: Strong Expertise In Nutrition Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation, Public Health, Management, Maternal Health, And Child Health Required.
• Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required.

Desirables

• Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language
• Knowledge Of Urban Nutrition Experience, UN Agency Experience, Arabic Language, Emergency Response, Programme Management, And Stakeholder Partnerships Considered Assets.
• Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
