The Nutrition officer will provide professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the nutrition programs/ projects through the application of theoretical and technical skills in collecting, analyzing and presenting technical program information while learning organizational rules, regulations and procedures to support the development and formulation of the Nutrition programs in Sokoto Field Office.

- Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Nutrition, Public health, Maternal child health, Programme management, Monitoring evaluation, Capacity building, Humanitarian response and any other related fields. Experience working in complex environments managing nutrition projects. Having emergency content working experience is a must.
- Skills: Research, Data analysis, Statistical analysis, Reporting.

- Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language
- Knowledge of the UN rules, procedures and regulations.
- Working experience in UN or other international development organization.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
