The National Volunteer -Communication will strengthen capacity of Civil Society Groups (CSGs) in communications and support M&E project staff to build their capacity in participatory monitoring, learning & documentation of outcome process and changes evidence-informed storytelling, and learnings.
The role will translate citizen-led data and outcomes into accessible communication products (case studies, briefs, visuals, digital stories) to enhance downward accountability, amplify community voice, and support advocacy and policy influence.
Ideal candidate should have good communication skills and experience working with people from different cultural backgrounds. Proficient in creating communication materials, including graphics and visual content, using Microsoft Office, publishing, and graphic design tools, with the ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and stakeholders.

Allowance and accommodation
All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.
VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
