The Opportunity
Under the Save the Children–Balaka District Council Project, we are seeking a qualified and motivated MEAL Officer (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) to support effective project performance tracking, learning, and evidence-based decision-making.
The MEAL Officer will be responsible for ensuring that project activities are properly monitored, evaluated, and improved through strong data systems, accountability mechanisms, and continuous learning. The role will be based at the Balaka District Education Office and will work closely with the programme team to ensure quality delivery of project results.
The successful candidate will support monitoring systems, evaluations, accountability frameworks, and learning processes to ensure that project performance is effectively measured and used for adaptive programming.
