Organizational Context and Scope
Site Management Support is an operational programme of the Site Management & Site Development Unit of IOM Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh which is integral to the Rohingya Refugee Crisis Response. Site Management Support activities include camp coordination of stakeholders, field assessments, support to camp actors for distributions, service monitoring, community engagement, communications with communities and throughout the refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar District, Bangladesh.
Under the overall supervision of the Programme Manager (Site Management and Site Development) and the direct supervision of the Site Management Coordinator in the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh Country Office (CO), the Site Management Support Officer will provide technical support and assistance in promoting adequate and community owned delivery of services in the sites hosting refugees.

For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written).
Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) and/or Bengali is an advantage.
