TITLE: Hubs Coordinator TEAM/PROGRAMME: Gaza Response – Operations LOCATION: Greater Cairo GRADE: 5 CONTRACT LENGTH: 8 months.

Level 3: The post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country
programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Gaza Response Hubs Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of Gaza Response Hubs to ensure efficient delivery of humanitarian and development services. The role involves
overseeing hub activities, implementing work plans, managing administrative and financial processes, and
facilitating communication between hubs and the central operations team. It ensures smooth coordination across program components such as Child Protection, Education, MHPSS, and Case Management, while maintaining
compliance with child safeguarding standards and promoting child-friendly, inclusive approaches in all hub
activities.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: Operations Officer
Staff directly reporting to this post: Hub admins.
Role Dimensions: Coordination among the different staff based in the office (Senior Operations Officer,
Operations Officer, CM coordinator, MHPSS Officer, Education Coordinators, Case workers, and volunteers).
Responsibilities:
Project Implementation & Hub Management
· Prepare and follow up on detailed implementation plans, work plans, and procurement schedules for hub activities.
· Coordinate and oversee daily hubs operations, ensuring smooth functioning of reception, interview scheduling, and cases assignment.
· Organize and manage events, trainings, workshops, and open days at hubs, including logistics and materials preparation.
· Supervise hub admins and ensure proper office management, including supplies, inventory, and cleanliness.
Administrative and Financial Support
· Manage petty cash for hubs and ensure timely advances and settlements.
· Maintain organized records of expenditures, participant lists, activity reports, and travel plans.
· Prepare and follow up on procurement requests, vendor arrangements, and goods delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in social studies, Political Science, Business Administration, Public Administration, or other related studies.
Essential:
· 2–3 years of relevant experience in development or humanitarian projects.
· Strong experience in project coordination, administrative, and logistical support.
· Previous experience managing hub operations or similar field offices.
· Solid knowledge of procurement and financial processes (advances, settlements, petty cash).
· Excellent communication and coordination skills.
· Proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
· Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Ability to supervise and monitor team progress.
· Familiarity with child safeguarding standards and commitment to child protection.
Desirable:
· Previous experience working with NGOs and refugee-related contexts.
· Experience in case management and working with vulnerable groups.
· Knowledge of reporting mechanisms and data management systems.
· Experience in organizing events, trainings, and workshops.
· Ability to draft SOPs or similar operational documents.
