Australia – Solomon Islands Program Support (ASIPS+) Facility
The Australian Government, through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), has contracted DT Global to establish and manage its multi-sectoral facility, Solomon Islands Program Support (ASIPS). ASIPS provides logistics, operations and administration support to Australia’s policy priorities and development program delivery in Solomon Islands.
The in-country ASIPS Facility Support Unit (FSU) operates in a complex and evolving context, providing operational services to enable DFAT to meet its goals and objectives in Solomon Islands.

The Role
Under the guidance of the SET Team Leader, the Australia Skills Awards Support Lead will plan and manage the delivery of Australia Skills Awards scholarships and related activities, working within budget and to agreed timelines. The incumbent will work collaboratively with other DFAT funded programs and Solomon Islands Government partner agencies to achieve an efficient and effective approach to scholarship delivery.

Qualifications
1. Post-graduate qualifications in education, international development, psychology or another discipline relevant to the role.
Key Selection Criteria
1. Experience in planning and managing implementation of adult learning programs, with experience in monitoring and evaluation of learning outcomes.
2. Experience leading and planning development programs, with a focus on proactively planning and delivering work, anticipating needs of the client and meeting these.
3. Ability to develop efficient systems and procedures to achieve agreed outcomes.
4. Ability to work autonomously and to demonstrate good judgement which ensures achievement of agreed outcomes within budget.
5. Good communication and time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work and to negotiate timelines.
6. Experience in corporate communications and public diplomacy and the ability to plan and deliver high quality events.
7. Experience working in developing countries, particularly in resource constrained environments.
8. Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
