Job Description:
Job Purpose: The Food Distribution Supervisor plays a critical role in the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of food assistance activities, ensuring that all distributions are conducted in compliance with WVI and WFP operational standards and guidelines. Working closely with camp-level commodity management teams, the supervisor promotes effective commodity handling, storage, stock control, and distribution practices, while strengthening warehouse management systems and ensuring the timely, transparent, and accountable delivery of food assistance to beneficiaries.
The position also requires maintaining strong coordination and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, including RRS, WFP, UNHCR, and Refugee Central Committees (RCCs), to support effective programme planning, implementation, and operational efficiency within the refugee camps.
