You as a Driver provide reliable and safe driving services while ensuring compliance with local traffic rules and UNICEF protocols.

You are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, adaptability and protocol awareness. You are also expected to support administrative tasks and engage in self-directed learning during non-driving periods.

Minimum requirements

• Education: Secondary Education in any related fields.
• Work Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience in logistics, fleet management, field operations, administrative support, travel operations, protocol, embassy experience, international organization experience
• Skills: Strong experience in Safe Driving, Vehicle Maintenance, UN Protocols, Trip Logging, Radio Communication, security coordination is required.
• Language Requirements: Fluency in Portuguese is required.

Desirables

• Language: Knowledge of English and/or French or local language of the duty station is considered an asset. Knowledge of another official UN language (English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish).
• Developing-country experience, UN system experience, additional UN language, maternal health, neonatal health, humanitarian preparedness
• Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.

UNICEF appointments are subject to medical clearance.  Issuance of a visa by the host country of the duty station is required for IP positions and will be facilitated by UNICEF.
