Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate Change Adaptation Officer

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate Change Adaptation (DRR/CCA) Officer will support the implementation of the Building The Climate Resilience of Children and Communities through the Education Sector -BRACE program at the county level, focusing on strengthening the resilience of the education sector to climate shocks. The role involves contributing to child-centered DRR/CCA programming and providing technical and operational support to ongoing activities in schools and communities. The Officer will be responsible for ensuring that quality programs are initiated and that DRR/CCA is effectively mainstreamed into the education sector.
