The Institute for Capacity Development (ICD) has a vacancy for a 12-month contractual position for a Data Management Analyst (DMA) / Senior Data Management Analyst (Sr. DMA) in the Institute Training Program (ICDIP) division. This division oversees and coordinates the IMF’s Institute Training Program, which is the IMF’s main vehicle for training government officials in macro-financial topics. It serves as the focal point for headquarters-based and regional training center programs, leads the IMF’s online learning (OL) work by developing and integrating digital and blended learning approaches, and manages the IMF’s Internal Economics Training (IET) program for staff. Through these efforts, ICDIP helps design, coordinate, and modernize the IMF’s external and internal training to support member countries’ needs and strengthen staff skills.
The successful candidate will report to the Deputy Division Chief overseeing OL and will play a key role in supporting the migration of IMF online courses from edX to the new platform (Institute Training Hub or ITH). The candidate will contribute to the end-to-end transition, review and validation of course materials to ensure they are complete, accurate, and fully functional in the new learning environment. A significant share of the role will focus on quality assurance of course assessments across six languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Arabic), including identifying and resolving content, formatting, and functionality issues. The position will also require close coordination with instructional designers, project managers, third party vendor(s) and other stakeholders to ensure timely remediation, consistent delivery, and successful course launch in the new learning platform.

This is a one-year contractual appointment. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent's performance, budget availability and continuous business need.
