About Living Goods:
We’re on a mission to ensure no woman or child dies from easily preventable diseases. To bring high-quality healthcare door to door, we’ve partnered with African governments to ensure that community health workers (CHWs) have the tools, support, and knowledge they need to save lives. We focus on ensuring CHWs are treated as essential health workers who should be digitized, equipped, supervised, and compensated—so they can make the greatest impact—and harness community-level data to transform health systems. We have supported over 12,000 CHWs, impacting more than 6 million people across Kenya, Uganda, and Burkina Faso.
About the Project:
This is a multi-country, donor-funded initiative delivered through a consortium of partners, focused on strengthening community health systems and advancing the use of data and digital solutions to improve service delivery. The project will support governments to enhance performance management approaches, build workforce capabilities, and drive more effective, scalable, and sustainable health outcomes across the region.
The Opportunity:
The Country Project Lead (Kenya) will serve as the overall lead and coordinator for the donor funded project across Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, and Burkina Faso, with primary accountability anchored in Kenya. The role will provide end-to-end leadership for the full lifecycle of the grant, ensuring effective project planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and close-out in line with donor requirements and Living Goods (LG) policies. Working in close collaboration with Country Leads, Program Support functions, Grants and Compliance, and Business Development teams, the Country Project Lead will drive high-quality grant implementation and management. This includes ensuring timely and accurate donor reporting, strengthening internal capacity on grant management and reporting, and providing oversight on compliance, deliverables, and financial stewardship. The role will ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and on scope, while fully adhering to donor compliance standards and LG policies from project inception through close-out.
At the Kenya country level, the Country Project Lead will provide overall project leadership and serve as the primary point of contact for external engagement with government counterparts, consortium partners, and other key stakeholders. The role will oversee implementation of Living Goods’ priority focus areas under the grant, including the deployment of digital solutions and the data-driven performance management approaches that enable continuous capability improvement, enhance CHW effectiveness, and contribute to dignified, and fulfilling work for Community Health Workers.
The Country Project Lead will represent Living Goods in high-level coordination forums, partnerships, and consortium engagements, ensuring strong alignment, visibility, and effective collaboration across all stakeholders involved in the project.
