How can you make a difference?

The intern will support coordination, documentation, digital communication processes, multimedia organization, event support and communication tracking systems to improve efficiency and timely delivery of communication outputs.

Under the direct supervision of the Communication Officer (Advocacy) and overall guidance of the Chief of Communications, Advocacy and Partnerships, the intern will support the following:

• Media Monitoring and Digital Communication Support
• Multimedia and Content Organization Support
• Event and Documentation Support

The intern is expected to contribute to the following:

• Organized and accessible communication and multimedia files.
• Timely compilation of media monitoring reports and communication summaries.
• Documented communication events and advocacy activities.
• Updated media and communication contact databases.
• Support timely preparation of communication and visibility materials.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Minimum requirements:

• Education: Be a recent graduate (graduated within the past two years) in field of in Communications, International Relations, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.

Work Experience:

• Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
• Basic understanding of child rights and experience working with children.
• Familiarity with communications, project management, and branding.
• Basic multimedia skills (photography, videography, and content creation).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), and social media management tools.
• Ability to manage social media channels and analyze relevant data.
• Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Krio
