Oxfam’s global campaign on inequality has been operating for more than a decade across 50+ countries around the world. Central to this work, and Oxfam’s broader strategic plan, are two annual highest-profile campaign moments: our annual Climate & Inequality Week (November) and Inequality Week (January) during which we launch our latest research and analysis, alongside various public mobilization, media and influencing activities on inequality.
Working closely with related project teams, the primary purpose of this role is to lead the commissioning and publications processes toward the delivery of our two priority global publications. These include our annual inequality report, published alongside the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, and our annual climate and inequality report, published around the annual Conference of the Parties (COP) of the UNFCCC. This includes leadership of the Paper Management Teams assembled to support the papers’ production, as well as managing the workflow and relationships necessary to publishing.
At Oxfam we respond to emergencies and advocate for people in crisis, partnering with local organizations to deliver essentials and help rebuild communities. We work with activists and partners to fight poverty and injustice. We campaign for economic, gender, climate justice and accountable governance, striving for sustainable growth and transformation. We fight for a future that is equal, just and fair – one in which people have more equal opportunities and rights, and one in which we can all flourish, not just survive.
