This global Campaigner role will support the effective implementation of our Tax the Super-Rich campaign, with a significant portion of its time dedicated to campaign actions led by the Tax the Super-Rich global movement. Our campaigners:
• Support the co-creation and delivery of creative public facing campaigns to engage audiences around the world. Ensuring that people-power is central to theories of change where power analysis suggests it should be.
• Work closely with countries, regions, and Oxfam affiliates to ensure that people power is central to the confederation’s work, while building relationships and providing direct support to related alliances and movements.
• Work primarily in multi-disciplinary project teams within the priorities set by the Inequality Campaign Team, and in line with Oxfam’s strategic plan.
At Oxfam we respond to emergencies and advocate for people in crisis, partnering with local organizations to deliver essentials and help rebuild communities. We work with activists and partners to fight poverty and injustice. We campaign for economic, gender, climate justice and accountable governance, striving for sustainable growth and transformation. We fight for a future that is equal, just and fair – one in which people have more equal opportunities and rights, and one in which we can all flourish, not just survive.
