Under the supervision and guidance of the supervisor, the Programme Associate provides specialized programme and administrative support to facilitate the development, implementation and monitoring of UNICEF's programmes. The role involves substantial engagement in data analysis, budget tracking, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and compliance with organizational rules. Incumbent exercises judgment, anticipates needs, and recommends actions that contribute to programme planning, implementation and reporting results.

- Education: Secondary Education in Business Administration, Social Science, Operations and any other related fields.

- Experience in generating regular reports and data analysis.
- Experience in tracking budget allocations, expenditures and monitor grant utilization for the section and individual grants using relevant systems (SAP).
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required.
- Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language.
- Familiarity with UNICEF's financial and administrative transactional processes.
- Experience working with Excel and SharePoint.
- Experience in supporting during emergency responses, surge deployments or re-prioritization events.
- Experience in PSEA.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
