Tests/interviews in connection to this selection procedure will take place approximately 4 weeks after the deadline for applications. Applicants are kindly requested to plan their availability during this period accordingly, in case they are short-listed.
Selected candidates will be expected to report for duty approximately two to three months after receiving an offer of employment at the latest.
This selection exercise may be used to generate a reserve list of suitable candidates that may be used to address Organization's similar staffing needs in the future.
Place du poste au sein de l'Organisation
Au sein de la Direction Exécutive Gestion des Ressources/Service Généraux, l’Assistant Restauration Maître d’Hôtel (ARMH) joue un rôle clé dans la coordination opérationnelle des prestations de restauration au sein d’INTERPOL. Sous l’autorité de son/sa supérieur hiérarchique, il/elle assure la gestion quotidienne des services de restauration collective, du bar (cafétéria) et des annexes (services VIP à table, buffets, cocktails, pauses de réunions…). Sa fonction est composée de deux missions principales :
Mission 1 – Fonction Restauration : suivi et gestion du contrat restauration
A en charge le suivi et la gestion du contrat restauration. A connaissance du contrat et des engagements du prestataire en place en matière de restauration et s’assure de leur respect dans les différents domaines énumérés ci-dessous :
Gestion du personnel
Approvisionnements
Hygiène et sécurité alimentaire
Equipements de restauration
Analyse financière du contrat de restauration
Suit les données en relation avec le contrat de restauration (contrat valorisé à 1 300 K€ pour une activité de 110 000 couverts, dont 9 000 visiteurs et 135 évènements nécessitants des prestations annexes), dont entre autres :
Mission 2 – Fonction Maître d’Hôtel
Assure la coordination entre le restaurant, la caféteria (bar) et les demandeurs internes (services organisateurs d’évènements ou service protocole pour les visites VIP) :
Prend en charge l’Organisation et le suivi de toutes les prestations VIP et de la Direction. Est responsable des services en salle (mise en place, nappage, service, débarrassage, blanchissage…) et assure le service à table, selon le protocole en vigueur.
Applique les protocoles des organisations internationales et diplomatiques : ordre de services lors des lunchs VIP, courtoisie, sécurité, confidentialité… et sait gérer toute réclamation ou situation délicate, en veillant à la préservation de la réputation de l’Organisation.
Mission 3 – Divers
S’acquitte de toute autre mission directement liée au bon fonctionnement des prestations de restauration, selon les instructions de sa hiérarchie.
FORMATION REQUISE
Minimum 2 ans d’expérience en tant que :
Une expérience de plus de 4 ans serait considérée comme un atout.
LANGUES
Français courant à l’écrit et à l’oral
Compréhension et expression de l’anglais oral obligatoire. Une maîtrise de l’écrit est un atout.
Une troisième langue officielle de l’Organisation parlée (espagnol ou arabe) serait appréciée.
COMPETENCES
As part of our commitment to transparency throughout our recruitment process, INTERPOL's Staff Manual Regulation 11.4: Age-limit, which states that:
'Officials of the Organization shall not normally be retained in service beyond the age of 65 years. The Secretary General may, in exceptional cases and in the interests of the Organization, extend this age limit, in which case he shall inform the official concerned sufficiently in advance.'
Given this Regulation and in case candidates reach the age of 65 during the potential duration of the appointment, should they be selected for the position and the process proceed to appointment, the employment period may be affected by this regulatory limit and may therefore not extend for the full standard contract duration as published in the vacancy notice.
