CONTEXTO ORGANIZATIVO Y FINALIDAD DEL PUESTO:

El Programa Mundial de Alimentos (WFP, por sus siglas en inglés) es la organización humanitaria líder que salva vidas y cambia vidas, brindando asistencia alimentaria en emergencias y trabajando con las comunidades para mejorar la nutrición y crear resiliencia, asistiendo cada año a más de 100 millones de personas en 88 países.
El propósito de esta posición es contribuir al fortalecimiento del posicionamiento institucional y a la construcción de alianzas estratégicas del WFP en Venezuela, mediante el establecimiento de vínculos con organizaciones nacionales y la identificación de oportunidades de colaboración e innovación. El rol facilita la interacción con contrapartes clave, promueve la agenda del WFP en materia de seguridad alimentaria y nutrición en Venezuela, y asegura la disponibilidad, organización y presentación de información esencial para la toma de decisiones y el desarrollo de iniciativas conjuntas.

RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES (lista indicativa y no exhaustiva)

1. Reporte y gestión de contribuciones: Liderar la elaboración de reportes a donantes y aliados, así como la gestión de contribuciones para asegurar el cumplimiento de compromisos establecidos.
2. Gestión de información: Recopilar y presentar datos sobre alianzas y contribuciones que apoyen a la planificación y uso adecuado de los recursos financieros.
3. Coordinación para la rendición de cuentas: Elaborar, en coordinación con las unidades de la oficina país, informes y reportes rigurosos para aliados y donantes, que promuevan la transparencia, la rendición de cuentas y la confianza. Esto incluye reportes mensuales sobre operaciones y la preparación del Annual Country Report (ACR).
4. Productos temáticos: Recopilar información y asistir en el análisis y elaboración de reportes temáticos (por ejemplo, sobre necesidades de asistencia alimentaria, uso de recursos, avances de programas y resultados), garantizando coherencia y calidad.
5. Movilización de recursos: Proporcionar asistencia en la preparación de propuestas para la movilización de recursos, coordinando con diferentes áreas internas y asegurando que la información sea completa y alineada con los objetivos del WFP.
6. Contribuir en actividades que fortalezcan las relaciones con donantes y aliados, apoyando la implementación de la Estrategia de Alianzas de WFP en Venezuela.
7. Realizar otras tareas de apoyo según se requiera.

CUALIFICACIONES REQUERIDAS:
Educación: Título Universitario en estudios internacionales, ciencias sociales, ciencias políticas, desarrollo internacional o áreas afines.

Experiencia: 5 años de experiencia laboral en gestión de proyectos, reportería y/o gestión de contribuciones dentro del sector humanitario o proyectos sociales.

Idiomas: Dominio Avanzado, hablado y escrito, del español e inglés obligatorio.
