Job Description
The Primary objective of this role is to look into all administration and office maintenance responsibility of Mihikatha Lanka Project Office at Welikanda.
The Administrative Assistant must,
• Adhere to all applicable policies and regulations with the utmost regard for personal safety and the well-being of all staff of the project, WVL.
• Be professional in providing the expected service
• Provide administrative support for the project office.
• Support is expected of individuals in this position during community events, emergency relief, and high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible of the assets that takes out of the office compound and ensure record keeping- Asset Movement record.
• Responsible for proper stock keeping and records maintenance and inventory maintenance.
• Support the program team raising procurement requests (PRs) for food, refreshments, venues etc
• Closely supervise office caretaker and see that the office, in and out, is kept in high standards of cleanliness
• Supervise the security guards (outsourced) and all related documents to ensure the security of the office is at high standard
• Responsible of the assets that takes out of the office compound and ensure record keeping- Asset Movement record.

Required Skills, knowledge and Experience

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in an INGO/NGO with a Diploma (A study course exceeding 6 months or more) in Administration, Management or any relevant stream of studies
• Basic knowledge on computer skills
• Basic knowledge on organizational procedures & systems
• Flair for public relations
