Company Description
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is a global economic forum working with 36 member countries and more than 100 emerging and developing economies to make better policies for better lives. The OECD’s mission is to promote policies that will improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world. The Organisation provides a unique forum in which governments work together to share experiences on what drives economic, social and environmental change, seeking solutions to common problems.
The International Energy Agency (IEA) is an intergovernmental organisation committed to advancing security of energy supply, economic growth and environmental sustainability through energy policy co-operation. The IEA operates as an autonomous body within the framework of the OECD. Both the IEA and the OECD seek opportunities to work with an increasing number of non-member countries of growing importance to the world economy. The Agency aims to foster the contribution of the energy sector to economic development and environmental sustainability
The IEA seeks to recruit multiple Renewable Energy Analysts to work in the Renewable Energy Division with experience in four main renewable energy focus areas: 1) electricity 2) transport 3) heating/cooling in the buildings and industry and 4) emerging technologies. The Analysts will contribute to the Agency’s analysis of renewable energy policies, markets and technologies. This will include supporting the monitoring of policy development, providing background research and gathering data on renewable energy policies and markets in the electricity, heating and transport sectors; it will also involve collaboration with the scientific and expert community of IEA Technology Collaboration Programmes (TCPs) a
