Lead environment engineering at enterprise scale. Shape the platforms that power the Bank’s most critical technology change.

We’re looking for a Quality Engineer, specialising in Test Environment Management to transform how environments are designed, orchestrated, and governed across a rapidly modernising engineering landscape.

Based in Sofia, you’ll own the strategy, tooling, and operating model that ensure our teams can deliver safely, predictably, and at pace.

This is a role for a technical, forward‑looking QE leader who thrives at the intersection of engineering, DevOps, cloud platforms, and environment governance. You will define how environments are provisioned, automated, secured, and monitored, and you’ll eliminate the environment fragility that slows delivery, increases risk, or compromises quality.

What You Will Lead

  • End‑to‑end ownership of the Test Environment strategy, covering environment architecture, IaC, configuration governance, environment reservation & scheduling, and cross‑product dependency mapping.
  • Next‑generation environment capabilities, including multi‑region replication, synthetic data generation, ephemeral environments, automated data refresh pipelines, and integrated performance & resilience labs.
  • Environment assurance, embedding quality, resilience, and regulatory alignment (NIST, DORA, ITIL) into every environment and ensuring strong observability, monitoring, and capacity insights.
  • Cross‑capability orchestration, working closely with DevOps, cloud, infrastructure, data, and product engineering teams to ensure environments remain stable, scalable, and aligned to delivery needs.
  • Leadership & influence, shaping environment direction across major transformation programmes (e.g. ERP mi
