About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase their income and assets on supported land by more than 35 percent, while permanently improving their resilience. About the Role You will design and lead field-tested adoption and engagement approaches that help farmers clearly understand program value, build trust, and confidently choose to enroll. This is a field-facing role at the intersection of Field operations, behavior change, and communication, turning farmer insights into practical, scalable adoption solutions. Responsibilities Farmer-Centered Adoption Design & Execution Design and lead farmer-centered adoption approaches that drive enrollment and trust. Translate program offerings into simple, compelling value propositions grounded in farmers’ realities, constraints, and priorities. Design and coordinate community engagement and mobilization approaches that improve turnout, understanding, and informed decision-making. Develop practical farmer-facing messaging tools and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. Spend time in the field observing farmer interactions, identifying breakdowns in understanding, trust, or motivation, and working with field team to adjust delivery, sequencing, and emphasis. Continuously refine adoption approaches using farmer feedback, enrollment outcomes, and field observation.
