POSITION SUMMARY

The Officer, Climate Innovation and Entrepreneurship, will support the implementation of the “Collaborative Research, Development and Business (R&DB) Program for Promoting the Innovation of Climate Technopreneurship” (the “Program”) in the Philippines. The position plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, entrepreneurship, and market readiness for climate technologies through direct engagement with government, private sector actors, and local innovators.

Under the guidance of the Senior Investment Officer in the Philippines, and in close coordination with the Regional Program Lead based in Seoul, the Officer will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of Program Components 1 (Country-Driven Acceleration Readiness) and 4 (Technical Assistance).This role involves designing and executing the National Climate Entrepreneur Accelerator Program, sourcing and accelerating high-potential local entrepreneurs and strengthening the Philippine climate innovation ecosystem, ultimately driving partnerships and technology transfer with global firms (Component 2) and unlocking financing through the Climate Technopreneurship Fund (Component 3). The Officer will need to understand the overall program structure and collaborate closely with the Asia Regional Office (R‑SMU) and other Executing Entities to achieve these goals.
