Smart demand, supply and use of data and information drives better results for children, especially when the right data and information are in the right hands at the right time as this leads to decisions that are better informed, more equitable, and more likely to protect children’s rights. This post focuses on use of data and information (both scientific and non-scientific). The primary function of this post is to connect analytics, monitoring and learning to support evidence-based advocacy, conduct visualizations as well as to be a knowledge broker and support improved results for children. This post provides leadership, oversight, and technical capacity for the responsible analysis and use of data and information within UNICEF as well as with its partners. It includes technical support to field Offices in their own data and information analysis work to inform policy changes.
